Process packages are developed for each customer according to their needs, ranging from specific programmes for modification of existing LCD production lines, through design, development and proving of new line installations, even complete 'turnkey' manufacturing lines for standard formats.

A CDT process transfer typically consists of:

• A structured process map  (see example diagramme below)
• Advice on equipment specification
• Recommended supplier selection and liaison
• Sample design for process transfer
• Results of process experiments
• Performance data
• Skills transfer through 'hands-on' experience at CDT and on customer site
• Backup from CDT's Research and Development team
• Process updates and ongoing support as required

A CDT process package contains all the detailed information needed to set up a successful PLED display manufacturing process, delivering a good yield of sellable display (IEC60068).
